Source for CO2, other supplies

Postby rshearer on Wed Mar 04, 2009 11:00 pm

New brewer ready to get into kegging, my question is this: What are the sources for CO2 in and around Chattanooga? Is it a tank exchange kinda thing or will they refill?
One other questions, is there a homebrew supply shop local?
Thanks

AIrgas is where I get my CO2. It's just down the road from Riverside Beverages. $10 for a tank exchange, but you gotta get a tank first, and they can be pricey...

As to LHBS, there is one next to the BI-LO on Hixson Pike just above the S-Curves. Pickings are slim, but it's there. All Season's in Nashville is a good bet, and the club gets a discount at Midwest Supplies...

Good Luck!

I had my tanks filled at Holston Gas on Stuart St off of Amnicola Hwy. At the time it was $5 and they filled it right there on the spot.
